WEF 1 Jan 2024, CSOC assessment will be fully online-based even though the class will still be face-to-face on-site at our training centres. Tablets will be provided at our premises. Hard copy assessment shall no longer be administered, recognised nor accepted. Proctoring via photo capturing of trainee(s) from the device's camera will be required for authentication during the assessment period. By booking of this course, it shall be deemed that acknowledgement and consent have been given by the trainee.
The Text-to-Speech (TTS) function will be launched in batches over the coming months.

- To equip all personnel with the relevant safety competencies to work in the Process and related industries;
- To reduce the gestation period before the worker can start working by harmonizing the regulatory requirements with the industry endorsed WSQ training
- To provide clear progression pathway and address the necessary skills required to move up to the next level of responsibility
- A3 size laminated workplace picture to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
- Activate alarm and evacuate the classroom-practical evacuation drill

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:
- identify own roles and responsibilities as an employee in a construction job
- follow safe work procedures in a construction job
- follow safe “Work-at-Height” procedures
- respond to fire emergencies
Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
- be proficient in the English language (listen, speak, read and write) and adept in manipulating numerical figures - at a level comparable to Employability Skills (ES) level 2. (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
- meet the required fitness standards
- be capable of following oral and written work instructions
- have the required employment status as a manual labourer to perform construction work in building and engineering construction sites
- possess adequate organisational skills
- Identify own roles and responsibilities as an employee in a construction job
- Follow safe work procedures in a construction job
- Follow safe “Work-At-Height” procedures
- Respond to fire emergencies
This course is applicable for SkillsFuture Funding up to 70%.
*From 1 Jan 2022, SkillsFuture course funding will be revised to a baseline of 50% subsidy, with an additional 20% subsidy (up to 70% subsidy) for SMEs and Mid-career individuals (Singapore citizens above 40 years old). Do note that the funding amount advised is not final and is subject to changes.
