At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

• identify different classes of fires and methods for extinction
• use different fire extinguishers and methods on different fire situations
• apply fire safety and fire prevention program

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

• have a basic knowledge of fire safety
• be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 2 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
• be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 2 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
• be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 2; and
• be medically fit

• Types of fire
• Classes of fire on the basis of extinguishing materials
• Fire Prevention
• Precautionary methods during fire outbreak
• Action to be taken when you are trapped in a fire situation
• How to prevent your clothes from catching fire
• Action to be taken when evacuating from buildings

Based on the successful completion of the course and assessment, a Safety Pass from Wong Fong Academy Pte Ltd will be awarded to the trainee.
