Course Objective

At the end of the programme, you will be equipped with skill, knowledge and attitude to operate lorry crane safely, especially in assessing risks and observing safety measures.

Assumed Skills & Knowledge / Pre-requisites

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

  • have employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3 and above, or equivalent
  • be able to read and understand manufacturer’s instructions, procedures and safety signs
  • have a good sense of “situational awareness” and safety consciousness
  • have attended certificate training by equipment suppliers or MOM Approved Training Provider
  • have basic knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act
  • have basic knowledge of current legislations concerning lorry crane operations

Fees and Funding

This course is applicable for SkillsFuture Funding up to 70%.

*From 1 Jan 2022, SkillsFuture course funding will be revised to a baseline of 50% subsidy, with an additional 20% subsidy (up to 70% subsidy) for SMEs and Mid-career individuals (Singapore citizens above 40 years old) . Do note that the funding amount advised is not final and is subject to changes.
