Course Objective

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  • list rules and regulations to ensure safety in erecting scaffold system
  • identify, select, set up and perform pre-checking of scaffolding system 
  • perform erection and dismantling frame scaffold
Assumed Skills & Knowledge / Pre-requisites

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

  • have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
  • be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 3 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
  • be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
  • be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3; and 
  • be medically fit

This course is applicable for SkillsFuture Funding up to 70%..

*From 1 Jan 2022, SkillsFuture course funding will be revised to a baseline of 50% subsidy, with an additional 20% subsidy (up to 70% subsidy) for SMEs and Mid-career individuals (Singapore citizens above 40 years old).
