This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills in performing metal scaffold erection and dismantling work activities in construction and related industries.

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:
- list rules and regulations to ensure safety in erecting scaffold system
- identify, select, set up and perform pre-checking of scaffolding system
- perform erection and dismantling frame scaffold
Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
- have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
- be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 3 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
- be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
- be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3; and
- be medically fit
- List rules and regulations to ensure safety in erecting scaffold system
- Identify, select, set up and perform pre-checking of scaffolding system
- Perform erection and dismantling frame scaffold
This course is applicable for SkillsFuture Funding up to 70%..
