Workplace Safety and Health (Workplace Safety and Health Committees) Regulations 2008 come into operation on 1st September 2008. Under the WSH (Workplace Safety and Health Committees) Regulations 2008, it is required for any company with 50 employees or more to establish WSH committee at the workplace.

Committee members are also required to have a basic understanding and knowledge of their responsibilities and duties as safety committee members. This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to perform and discharge their responsibilities as safety committee members, as required by the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

• understand and manage workplace risk and emergency situation
• promote WSH effectively
